Last Minute Ideas for Your Halloween Party

So you still haven't booked entertainment for your Halloween party, yet you want to make it stand out? Never fear, I'll save you dear. Party planning can be quite stressful at the last minute, so I've listed some easy entertainment ideas to ease your burden.

Hire:

1. A tarot card reader

2. A palm reader

3. A psychic

Just remind your guests that it's for entertainment purposes only. The last thing you want to hear is about one of your guests being arrested for grave robbing some seemingly old relic with mystic powers.

4. Costume charactersCostume Characters are professional performers that really know how to interact with your guests while maintaining their ghouling character.

5. Stilt Walkers

Stilt Walkers have a variety of costumes, so search for one with Halloween costumes to fit your theme. Many also perform other tricks such as juggling. With three skeleton heads and a juggling Stilt Walker, you've instantly taken your atmosphere up by several notches.

Good luck, my friends. Have a successful, and smashing Halloween party!

Top Three Party Themes for Fall

Step into any store right now and you’re bound to find Halloween costumes, candy and décor. If you’re lucky, you might event spot Christmas decorations. So there’s no denying it. Fall is here. If you’re looking for theme party ideas for your next event, why not go with a fall theme? Here's my list of the top three themes for fall:

3. Halloween

As one that prefers tropical locales in the winter, I dislike fall greatly because it constantly warns me that colder weather is on its way. And, I inevitably try to pretend that it’s not fall by wearing my summer clothes, when I should be pulling out jackets, and swimming in freezing water. But oddly enough, I do like Halloween. For those adults that aren't afraid to celebrate Halloween, have a Halloween Costume Party. See my previous blog, How to Throw a Great Halloween Party, for ideas for your party or event.

2. Christmas

Not quite the grinch I used to be, Christmas theme parties can be great fun. And, they’re great for corporate holiday parties. Need ideas on creating the Ultimate Christmas Party? Never fear. I’ll have a blog up shortly, guiding you through the party planning process.

1. Las Vegas Casino

No, Las Vegas isn’t a Fall theme. But, imagine now that you’ve survived all the Halloween and Christmas parties that you can bear. Would you really want to host another fall related theme party? I don’t think so. This is why the Las Vegas theme is so perfect at this time. It can be used all year round, which is precisely why it’s at number one. This theme will give you a much needed break from pumpkins, jingle bells, spider webs, apple bobbing and Christmas trees. However, if you still haven’t had enough, you can also combine Las Vegas with the Christmas theme. In my most dramatic voice, “Think: Christmas in Las Vegas.”

There you have it; my top three list of fall themes. I’d love to hear what your top three fall themes are.
